Here's the post for the tutorial 1 and 2...

1) Blogs - simple online journal and dairy/guide is usually use for stories, links and commentaries that is written by the user to express his/her thoughts.
Wiki - a kind of website that allows anyone visiting the site to add, remove, or edit all content, very quickly and easily, sometimes without the need for registration.

2) Advocacy website in mainly influence public or to attempt to increase membership in the organizationopinion.They do so through promoting causes and actively campaign for people to give support to the issue selected . Information website only provide factual information on major topics.

3) The 2 features of databases are:-

- Supports Boolean operators, phrase and proximity searches
- Allow limitations in fields like years, lauguages which is found in advance searches

4) Boolean Operators
- AND: narrowing the search, include both phrases
- OR: expanding the search, include either of the phrases
- NOT: restricting the search

5) Examples of other strategies to refine search results
- Phrase Searching, “ “ -- exact words
- Use of parentheses, ( ), to force the order of the search -- meaning the one in the bracket will be search first
- Advanced search allows for the use of filters, e.g. language, date, domains (.edu, .gov, .com)

6a) Purpose of http://www.geocaching.com/ website -- Entertainment

b) Geocaching is an adventure game where user would hide or seek for cache. The game would establish enjoyment for the user hence it is consider as an entertainment website.
